And Urban Housing Solutions and Change++ have teamed up to help those who might be affected
Kelsey Oesmann from Urban Housing Solutions created an outstanding board game to aid in this effort: The Game of Rent.
In this game, the player assumes the role of a person with random life circumstances and attempts to find housing in their given city. In playing the game, the player gains an understanding of the struggles associated with looking for housing in their city and just how prevalent this issue is.
Over the past year, Kelsey has teamed up with Change++ to turn her
physical board game into an awesome online board game that anyone can play, anywhere, anytime.
And it’s finally live!
Currently, The Game of Rent Online only allows players to simulate finding housing in the Nashville area, but we have plans to add additional cities and various life circumstances to truly capture the housing search.
