Vanderbilt Black and Latinx Alumni Directories

Centralizing information and resources for underrepresented groups at Vanderbilt

Change++ has developed two directory applications for Vanderbilt’s Peabody Coalition of Black Graduates (PCBG) and the Latino and Latina Studies Department. While both projects were introduced as having the same goal of centralizing information for underrepresented groups at Vanderbilt, each organization had very different ideas on what they wanted.

For PCBG, a full website was built, requiring both front-end and back-end work. This collaborative platform allows users to contribute their own profiles to the directory. The application can be found here.

For the Latino and Latina Studies Department, the application was built into their department website, utilizing the university’s content management system. You can visit their site here.
